The Team

We are not asking for the most experienced players, no previous football experience is required. We're not looking for the biggest or strongest women, we're looking for winners. What that means, is that anybody can play on this team so long as they're willing to do what is takes to win. Whether that means working twice as hard in practice as any of you have before or if it means sitting and studying to learn the game inside and out, backwards and forwards, work ethic is something that cannot be stressed enough.

A Message from Coach

To any potentially-interested players,
My name is Dr. Casey Lilly, I'm a former NFL scout and I'm the founder, owner, General Manager and Head Coach of the Kentucky Irondogs, a core team of the newly-founded, preeminent women's tackle football league, the National Football Confederacy. As a coach, I'm going to ask each of you for three things:
1st, Be on time.
2nd, Focus.
3rd, Be an unselfish player.
If you can manage those three things, you can play on this team. Everything else can be learned, changed, or thrown out altogether.
